1930s vintage oak sidebiard/Buffet in green
A fabulous 1930s oak sideboard, refinished and reimagined, brought back to life for another 100 years. A beautiful, well made item, ready to sit pretty in your home. More than a dream for eyes, this classic sideboard comes with 3 spacious dovetailed drawers and two storage cupboards, with carved design, each housing a shelf inside.
Coming to me covered in thick dark brown varnish (and a lot of dust), this beauty has been completely refinished with a mighty good clean, then completely sanded back to its natural oak state. The top and front of the sideboard have been varnished in a clear satin to keep it's natural colouring and beautiful grain, whilst the sides have been lovingly painted in a calm and cosy green, perfectly pairing with the oak wood and again varnished several times for extra protection. The carved mirror backboard adds an extra detailing and can also be removed if preferred.

As with all vintage items, there may be signs of a previous lives lived, all furniture is always functional and beautiful with any imperfections being a nod to their colourful past. This sideboard is in wonderful condition for its age.
