Antique Oak Framed Small Chair Child's Chair, Becca Who Velvet New Upholstery

What a joy its been to find this treasure and breathe new life into it. By removing the tatty old furnishing fabric and completely rebuilding the sprung seat, we've been able to bring this wonderful little chair back to life.
The oak frame is in excellent condition, all joints are strong and although low in height it has the capacity to seat both children and adults due to its width and depth of seat.
This little, robust chair deserved something special to be covered in. We found this British Designed Velvet, jungle and garden themed print called Bengal Rose. The blousey roses and exotic ferns are attempting to disguise the face and tail of a Bengal tiger. His face features on the seat and the back. All set on a navy background.
Becca Who designs patterned furnishing fabrics, borne out of a love of Art.
The current fabric retails at £88 per metre.
The dimensions of the chair are listed in the item specifics but an additonal measurement is the seat height at 40cms from the ground.

This chair is listed in my Etsy shop as well as other online marketplaces. As such it may become unavailable at short notice.

I aim to source / rescue quality furniture that just needs a bit of tlc to restore them to their former glory. I only use high end fabrics to give a bespoke quality feel to each piece. Using such fabrics always enhances the design and makes the whole process so enjoyable for me to work with and of course, for you to enjoy.
NOTE. In order to comply with British Fire Safety Regulations 1988, all my re-upholstered furniture manufactured after 1st January1950
