An attractive walnut and ebonised fruitwood French writing bureau, dating from the mid 19th century. Pierced foliate gallery over to freeze drawers over full flap, opening to reveal a fitted pigeonhole section. With four further freeze drawers. Turned ebonised knobs. To the front a full width freeze drawer with scalloped apron. Carved Cabrillo legs. Good solid example with working lock and key.
