A beautiful Mid Century Modern bar cabinet, look at that stunning high gloss veneer with a lighter wood trim.
It is divided in to an upper and lower section, accessed by a working lock and key…..keeping those pesky teenagers away from your precious Gin collection!
The upper section is mirrored with two glass shelves, I fitted a light that you can set depending on your mood, we all like a bit of ambient lighting, there is also a pull out high gloss wooden shelf for you to prep your cocktails on…..classy
I also replaced the clamps for the shelves with lovely brushed gold clamps and cleaned up the hardware and keys.
The lower section is again accessed by a working lock and key, there are lovely, curved shelves to store your glasses etc.
I have painted the interior of both compartments plus the trim and legs with Wise owl chalk synthesis paint in Military bronze which is a masculine green colour and jazzed up the feet with some gold.
The sides and top have been decoupaged with a specially made Japanese inspired paper from Its so chic furniture and wall art – I have given this a coat of pearlescent topcoat and then a coat of glossy polyvine for durability.
The interior was given a coat of Wise owl Furniture salve in Bioluminescent Bae so it smells amazing
This is a truly showstopping, quality piece of furniture, as always, my pieces are a complete one off emphasizing quality and aesthetic appeal.
