These beautiful vintage bedside cabinets have been carefully sourced and professionally restored with quality products and a bespoke hand painted design.
The Design
I chose the design for these vintage bedside cabinets from nature and my love of the birds that visit my garden. I’m inspired by these every day without fail and love to create my own designs from the beauty of the nature all around me. For these particular bedside cabinets I wanted to illustrate the beginning of a new day. When the birds in my garden sing loud and beautiful songs to welcome in the morning. Sitting amongst lush green hawthorn branches these little great tits are singing so loudly, I’m sure you can hear them. The design is bespoke and fully hand painted in watercolour, so these little vintage bedside cabinets are an original work of art in their own right. How beautiful will they look in your nature inspired bedroom, I’m sure they’d take centre stage.
The style of these pretty little bedside cabinets is mid century, which means they have clean lines and the attractive tapered legs of the era. This type of style fits in very well, with a more countryside feel, as the design beautifully compliments the overall look. As an original pair, they are designed as a mirror image of one another, with the doors opening on opposite hinges. This means they will sit comfortably at either side of your bed, making access effortless. Just imagine how gorgeous they will look adorned with your stunning bedside lamps and how useful they will be too. Perfect for that Sunday morning lie in with a cup of coffee and a good book!

The restoration process
As with all my pieces these vintage bedside cabinets have been carefully prepped, with the original varnish fully removed to ensure the most perfect finish. My pieces are fully primed with a quality primer, then painted with Fusion Mineral paint. Finally a topcoat of General Finishes clear satin varnish is added to ensure a lasting and durable finish.
Shipping and delivery
Delivery is included in the cost to mainland UK. Some areas, including Highlands and Islands will be at an additional cost, so please do ask for details before purchase.
I do offer a full nationwide delivery service by a furniture courier and can accommodate a two man delivery if required, at an additional cost (please ask for details).
