Black and gold captains chest

Twin pedestal captains desk handpainted in black with gold details and bare wood . 

This stunning leather top captains desk would make a great statement piece for any room

With plenty of storage this desk has 8 drawers .

2 smaller drawers and one larger drawer situated on the top section .then 

3 smaller drawers on the lefthand side and 1 smaller drawers on the right with 1 deep drawers underneath each drawer has been framed with a gold pigment paint.  

The desk was fully striped back to its bare bones which revealed a beautiful grain. So we decided to keep some of that grain on show..

So as you can see on both of the desk pedestals we have left sections of the grain showing framed with gold pigment painted and annebell duke pitch black mineral paint. 

And to keep in tie with the design we left some grain showing on the side of the top section and some on the top of the desk.this has been sealed with a satin osmo oil.

The orginals handles have been kept but have been freshen up with a new coat gold. 

The desk comes in 3 parts , which makes it easy to be delivered.
