CC41 furniture refers to British "Utility" furniture produced between 1941 and the early 1950s, stamped with a "CC41" (Controlled Commodity 1941) mark.
Designed under Gordon Russell to combat shortages, these pieces are renowned for being minimalist, robust, and functional, often crafted in a simple, lasting style
Measuring approx 77H x 55W x 48D with a seat height of 45cm
It has a lovely rich natural patina from its past life in a working environment and natural age, this adds to the character, there is no damage and its still sound structurally - really is a beautiful chair and ready to be enjoyed and used again in its new home.
