A 1950s mid century solid (heavy) chest of drawers made from satinwood, having four good sized useful drawers. The two top drawers and middle drawers are of a similar depth with the bottom drawer being even deeper allowing for extra storage. All drawers are good and strong and run smoothly (none of the drawers lock, no key).
The piece has a pleasing satinwood grain with carving detail to each side.
The sides and top of the drawers have been professionally painted in a durable non toxic and voc free mineral paint in a duck egg blue colour, then finished with a clear wax for extra durability and effect.
The natural satinwood drawers have all been stripped to show the lovely grain and treated with a hard wax oil.
The insides of the drawers have been nourished with a natural hemp oil with the base being lined with a checked print and sealed.

Delivery is available with my friendly reliable courier, but please be aware that my courier works alone and will require help unloading. Most of my pieces are quite heavy so if you are unable to help unload please arrange for a family member, friend or neighbour to be available. If this is not possible for you and you require a two person courier I cannot offer free delivery for this service. Two person couriers can be quite expensive and may take longer to arrange delivery so please contact me before purchase if you would like me to look into this for you and provide you with a delivery quote.
Highlands of Scotland, Wales and Ireland and flats that are not ground floor please contact me before purchase with regards to delivery.
All pieces are wrapped with recyclable eco friendly bubble wrap, recycled cardboard lined, then shrink wrapped ready for delivery.
All of my items have been restored with care and attention however they have all seen a previous life so may show some signs of age, past life and the occasional small imperfection, ding, or dent.
