Literally meaning 'Porcelain House', Chini Khana originated in Persia in the early seventeenth century as an architectural device for the display of precious Chinese porcelains.
Sweetleaf's Chini Khanas are handcrafted using carcasses of salvaged drawers formerly used for storing fossils at The Hunterian Museum, Glasgow.
These are designed as wall displays and can be installed using appropriate fixing screws and plugs (not provided).
