Contemporary Sideboard with Architectural design COMMISSION

We are excited to introduce a captivating project aimed at showcasing the upcycled vintage Meredew sideboard, a splendid contemporary piece with a retro twist. This sideboard has been meticulously restored, painted dark grey, and adorned with a unique monochrome design featuring a vintage drawing of a historic Amsterdam house. Our aim was to save the features of this stunning piece but also tell the story of its transformation and cultural inspiration.

This upcycled sideboard was only painted and decoupaged on the outside. The inside is left in its original state and revitalised with scented furniture oil. 

This restored and refinished vintage sideboard is available in 5 business days.

COMMISSIONS

We take commission orders based on this design, or I can refinish your existing furniture to this or a similar style or customise something else to your needs. This piece had a previous life and could have little signs of it, even after it has been given a new look. All upcycled furniture might have minor imperfections due to its age. Even when refinished to the highest standards, handmade items only partially match the factory finish.

The inside of vintage furniture is left in its original state, only revitalised with scented furniture oil. In case of damage, we paint or decoupage the affected surfaces of the inside of the furniture. Otherwise, please express your request to paint the inside of the unit during the design consultation, and we will include it in your quote.

DELIVERY

A 1-man service is provided. Help will be required if the item is too large or heavy for one person to handle.

Please get in touch with me before purchasing with your full postcode for an accurate courier quote. I use a professional delivery service from trusted furniture couriers. Alternatively, you can arrange your collection from Chelmsford, Essex.

We can also offer free delivery if you live in a 30-mile radius.
