Early 20th Century Mahogany Bookcase on Queen Anne Legs
Early 20th Century Mahogany Bookcase on Queen Anne Legs
A charming vintage mahogany bookcase of pleasing proportions, featuring elegant Queen Anne–style legs and a warm, rich colour throughout. The overall form is simple and balanced, allowing the quality of the timber and the graceful stance to take centre stage.
The bookcase is fitted with two glazed front doors, both opening and closing smoothly. Inside are two adjustable shelves, offering flexible storage for books, display items, or collectibles. The top surface is in good overall condition, with only a couple of minor marks to the right-hand side, consistent with age and gentle use.
The sides show only general wear, and the piece remains solid and well-presented throughout. The glazed panels add lightness to the design while still providing practical enclosed storage. Please note there is no key.
A versatile and attractive piece that would suit a living room, study, or hallway setting.
