Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Corner Chair

Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Corner Chair

A delightful Edwardian mahogany corner chair, beautifully proportioned and displaying fine craftsmanship throughout. The gently curved back rail flows into shaped arms, framing three elegant back splats, each enhanced with subtle inlaid detailing that adds refinement and period charm.

The seat is upholstered in a floral tapestry-style fabric, bordered with decorative trim, offering both comfort and visual appeal. The warm mahogany frame shows a lovely aged patina, with slender tapered legs united by a shaped cross stretcher for strength and stability.

Overall in good antique condition, although there is a historic repair to the top right hand side of the rail as seen in the photographs and general age-related wear commensurate with its years, adding to its authentic character.

A charming and versatile piece – ideal as an occasional chair, bedroom accent, or hallway feature, bringing classic Edwardian elegance into any interior.
