A striking and substantial Edwardian compactum wardrobe, crafted in richly figured walnut and offering both elegance and exceptional storage. This is a beautifully proportioned piece with strong architectural presence, ideal for period interiors or as a statement feature in a contemporary setting.

The wardrobe is crowned with an ornate carved pediment and decorative frieze running the full width, setting off the finely panelled and carved façade below. The front is arranged with two large mirrored doors flanking a central cupboard section, providing both visual balance and practicality.

The central section features:

• Twin cupboard doors opening to an internalshelf

• A charming mirrored compartment beneath, ideal for dressing or display

• Five smoothly running drawers below, all fitted with decorative original-style handles

The left-hand tower contains:

• A top shelf

• Six coat hooks with a short hanging rail

• A lower compartment with hinged lid

The right-hand tower mirrors the functionality with:

• A small hanging rail

Both side doors operate well, though they occasionally require a gentle push to close fully, consistent with age and use.
