Hand painted dragonfly bureau

Meet Flo, This stunning little bureau speaks for herself! She pops with colour inspiration, whilst offering functionality and versatility! When I first got her she was in need of some tlc, but you wouldn’t know it now! She may be small, but she’s definitely mighty and simply glorious!

She’s been painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Yeabridge Green’ estate eggshell and fusion mineral paint in ‘Midnight blue’. The drawers have been hand painted in a rainforest theme of various leaves using cooling blue tones. This has then been overlayed with a beautiful large dragonfly stencil with a blend of rich teal, vibrant purple and metallic silver and gold enamel. The carved areas and detailing have been finished in silver and gold too, making this magical piece for any foyer or reception area, bedroom, children’s homework- study area. Or purely to admire in a lounge alcove.

To be honest this isn’t just another piece of painted furniture. It’s a unique one of a kind hand painted piece of my artwork, from within the realms of my crazy imagination! Yes you get to own a little of the craziness that’s in my head, with a smattering of creative license and lots of love, time, affection and attention to detail! 😃🙌🏻
