The main body & drawers of this lovely piece has been painted in Fusion Everett- one of their new lovely green range. The top drawer, legs and decorative carvings have been finished in a contrast of Driftwood and Cappuccino stain and finishing oil.
The original handles have been buffed in an antiqued style to retain the character and authenticity of the piece.
The drawer dovetails have been enhanced to show off the craftsmanship of the work with the drawer insides having a treatment with Howard Feed & Wax.
A Fusion Beeswax finishing coat and a coat of hemp oil have been applied to aid the durability of the finish.
Each drawer has been treated with Howard feed and wax- beeswax and orange oil.
The Lebus 'button' in the drawer dates its manufacture in the 1940s .
