Kitchen Caddy Drawer Set with Oak Butcher's Block
This is a unique drawer set, designed as a 'Kitchen Caddy' with four drawers: two smaller drawers at the top, one regular drawer in the middle, and a deep drawer at the bottom (for condiments & bottles).
The drawer fronts are made from solid oak, as is the 40mm butchers cutting block mounted at the top. The drawer fronts have been dovetailed to give extra strength, and they all use the 'push to open' fixtures.
Roller bearing drawer slides fitted to all drawers.
On the right-hand side is a 35mm copper handle (mounted in mahogany blocks), made from recycled copper tubing.
The whole unit is mounted on four caster wheels (two of which are braked) for easy movement around the kitchen.
Finally, it is finished with a light varnish and a coating of natural furniture wax.
This unit has been handmade using recycled and repurposed wood, therefore you may find the odd mark, scar, or blemish which I have made the deliberate choice to leave in, which all adds to the story of this unique piece.
