Modern Upcycled Solid Oak Side Table with Tapered Legs
Beautifully finished modern Oak side table with straight tapered Beechwood legs.
This is solid piece of minimalist furniture upcycled from reclaimed kitchen worktop, crafted in my small Devon workshop. I love remaking old furniture into modern contemporary furniture, true upcycling!
This piece is 27mm thick solid oak, which i have stripped, trimmed, sanded to a smooth finish all over, edge detailed on the edge with my small plane, then oiled with 3 coats of clear linseed oil to give it a deep natural water resistant finish. This can be easily cared for with natural beeswax polish.
The legs are turned in the UK from solid Beech wood and have brass ferule ends.
This one in the pictures measure: 80cm wide x 26cm deep x 44cm high with the 40cm legs attached.
I will have a stock of more recycled oak and will list them and the finish options when available. If you wish something of a different size then please contact me.
