An attractive oak bureau in the Arts & Crafts style, full of character and practicality. The sides and top show gentle wear, consistent with age, adding to its rustic appeal.

The base houses a single shelf, supported by later makeshift pieces which remain sturdy. Above, a single drawer sits between two pull-out arms (with matching knobs) that support the drop-leaf writing surface. The drawer features highly decorative handles, and the leaf itself is embellished with decorative metalwork. It lowers smoothly and includes a handle at the top for ease of use.

Inside, the bureau opens to reveal seven compartments for tidy organisation of papers and stationery.
