OAK EDWARDIAN GATE-LEG OVAL TABLE WITH GREY BARLEY TWIST LEGS
This Edwardian oak, 4 seater, oval dining table has been lovingly restored, with a beautiful tiger oak top that has been carefully stripped, stained and wax oiled in a shade of walnut to bring out the beautiful grain. The 8 fabulous barley twist legs and cross bars have all been hand painted in a dark grey mineral paint.
When not in use as a dining table, the piece can stand decoratively with the side leaves lowered. This table is perfect for anyone limited on space, or beautiful as a side table in any living space. When in use, the side leaves are raised and supported by rotating gate legs.
This is a piece of considerable age and is still in a very good condition. Strong and sturdy with many more years of use ahead. Some small signs of wear and tear can be seen, typical of a piece of this age.
