Oriental Antique Altar Table - 19th Century Solid Wooden Chinese Bench - Carved

This is an impressive, 1.6m long Chinese altar table with a plain rectangular top, fitted with 2 drawers, with raised scrolling decorations, resting on square splayed legs.  As you can see from the images the top shows years of wear and tear all of which has resulted in a wonderful aged look. 

 

 This is a real statement piece and would make a great focal point in any setting. It is full of character  and has a great aged patina.

This would be a great bench for many uses, be it a kitchen island, a side table, photo prop or a shop counter.

This item does have many years wear which has resulted in a lot of marks, scuffs, scratches, chips, splits, dents, cracks, holes and general wear and tear. There are signs of historic wood worm, which has resulted in damage in some areas as shown. In general, this has lots of imperfections, all that give it a great amount of character and charm. Some movement to the joints, and stiffness to the drawers.

 

Ideal for light or full restoration, or to use as.
