from the late 18th and early 19th centuries that was heavily influenced by neoclassical aesthetics.
This specific design is a twin pedestal dining table.
Instead of four individual legs, the table is supported by two or more central pedestals,
each with splayed legs that often end in brass castors or claw feet.
This design was popular for its stability and for allowing for more legroom around the table.
Condition
The table is in very good condition with some fairly minor marks and varnish wear but nothing unsightly.
