This Arts and Crafts chair was made by Walter Skull Furniture who were taken over by Ercol.
Ercol's chair making room was called the Skull room by many of the past furniture makers.
The previous owner of the chair was one of Lucian R. Ercolani right hand men and oversaw the Ercol buyout.
The chair was a gift from Lucian as a wedding present in the 1930s.
The chair has been upholstered in an burn orange faux leather and has olive green cushions.
Condition
The chair is extremely comfortable and in very good condition
some minor marks and signs of wear.
The frame is very sturdy.
