Strongbow sideboard in black and vintage gold
The beautiful sideboard has been painted in black and gold for a luxurious ,With ample storage space two cupboards with one shelf and three drawers. It could be used as a sideboard, drinks cabinet ,hallway cabinet
Then it was time for me to start painting.
So I decided on pitch black from annebell duke paint was the colour for this piece. So I began to paint as I was painting with the black I then decided to add vintage gold metallic paint to the drawers as I thought this would give this piece a very luxurious style. Once all the painting was done I took a step back and thought something was missing . So I hunted through my stencil drawer and found this floral stencil which I recently used on one of my other pieces and knew this stencil was the right choice for this pieces . So I decided to add the stencil detailing onto the cupboard door fronts using the vintage gold metallic paint. Which I believe really sets this piece off .
I have kept the original handles but they have been cleaned and given a fresh coat of paint.
