Upcycled Black and Gold Freestanding Mirror with Flamingo Design

This mirror started life quite plain and wooden. I have transformed it into this beauty using a range of different techniques.

The mirror has been thoroughly cleaned, Stripped, primed and painted.

I have used pink and gold stencilling to create the the floral pattern, with a couple of raised stencils on the back. Resin has been used to create some beautiful roses, that have been coloured gold, to bring the elegance. The piece has been finished with a flamboyant steampunk flamingo, to bring the class and allow this piece to be put anywhere in the room.

The whole piece has been finished with multiple layers of polyvine varnish, to make sure it is hardwearing.

*All of my pieces are pre-loved, so may show some minor imperfections, which simply add to their character and charm.
