Birds and Blossom – Dressing Table

So here we have a vintage dressing table, that dates back to the mid Century, which has been uniquely up-cycled with love, down to the very last detail.

The entire piece has been stripped back, to get rid of the dark varnish that was previously applied. What's underneath is this gorgeous wood grain, which I simply couldn't cover with paint and needed to show it off, for its full beauty. I have complemented the wood grain with dark green on the trims, gold floral stencilling and a gorgeous bird transfer by 'Re-Design with Prima'.

The original drawer handles have been cleaned up and brought back to life, with imitation gold leaf. 

The mirror is original and does have a few tiny imperfections, but this is natural due to the age of this piece, which simply add to their charm and character.

The entire piece has been coated with either Polyvine varnish, or natural bees wax.

*Due to my pieces being pre-loved, minor imperfections may be present, but these simply add to their character and charm.
