Upcyled Drop Leaf Table with Floral Design

Believe it of not, this piece was found on the side of the road...destined for the tip! It did look slightly (very) different back then, but after a lot of TLC, I have managed to get it back to its former beauty and some...

This drop leaf table has been thoroughly cleaned, stripped back from all it's old varnish, that was making it look rather ugly and has now been given a new lease of life!

The legs have been primed and painted in a grayish, blueish, purplish colour, to complement the table top design.

The top has been sanded smooth, stencilled and 'Meet me in the Garden', furniture transfer has been added, by 'Re-Design with Prima', to complete this gorgeous look. 

The top has been given a good few layers of Polyvine Varnish, to make sure it is hardwearing. 

The old hinges had seen better days, so I gave this beauty the royal treatement and added some brand new gold hinges to complete the design.
