A magnificent and very large four-panel tapestry screen, probably Victorian, featuring richly woven fabric in gold, brown, and blue tones.
One side presents an atmospheric country scene softened by age and patina, while the reverse is adorned with a beautifully detailed foliate pattern, exuding understated grandeur. The colours—muted golds and deep blues—lend warmth and depth, making this an exceptional decorative statement piece.
The screen remains in authentic, untouched condition, with the material intact and structurally sound, showing only a few small pulls and tiny holes consistent with its age.
