Victorian Mahogany Double Corner Cupboard With Glazed Top
Victorian Mahogany Double Corner Cupboard With Glazed Top
A handsome antique oak corner cabinet, offering generous storage and classic proportions. Crafted as a single-piece unit, this cabinet has a strong, traditional presence and would suit both period and character interiors.
The upper section features a large glazed door with an elegant arched framework, opening to reveal three fixed display shelves. The interior has been painted in a soft cream tone, enhancing the display of ceramics, glassware, or books. A small working key is present for the glazed door.
The base section has two panelled cupboard doors, opening to a single fixed internal shelf, also finished in cream. There is a small slither of trim missing between the lower doors and a minor panel loss near the back from an old repair; neither affects the strength or usability of the cabinet.
The cornice shows a small chip to the right-hand side, consistent with age, and there are general signs of wear throughout, all in keeping with an authentic antique piece.
A solid, attractive corner cabinet with plenty of storage and visual appeal.
Condition:
Good antique condition overall. Minor chips, small losses, Historic worm (treated) and age-related wear as noted. Structurally solid.
Dimensions:
• Width: 100 cm
• Depth: 56 cm
• Height: 211 cm
