A superb example of late 19th-century ecclesiastical furniture, this Victorian walnut prie-dieu (prayer chair) exudes both elegance and devotion.

The finely carved walnut frame features beautifully turned side supports and a richly detailed crest rail, displaying the craftsmanship typical of the period. The upholstery is an exquisite floral tapestry, in excellent condition, with warm tones that complement the deep patina of the walnut.

Elegant in profile and impressive in presence, this piece would grace any refined interior — from a devotional setting to a sophisticated decorative collection.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with minimal signs of age. (There is a tiny chip to the veneer - front lower right elevation as seen in photographs) Solid and stable.
