Vintage Elm Coffee Table - Solid Wooden Turned - Natural Top - Retro Ercol
A vintage coffee table with solid elm plank top and contrasting dark stained base. Long and well proportioned, it works well as a central coffee table, low display table or TV stand in a living room.
The top is constructed from solid elm boards with visible grain and natural variation. The base is solid beech with a dark stained finish, featuring turned legs and stretchers. The construction and detailing are consistent with Ercol manufacture, although no badge present, so possibly made in the style of. Likely mid to late 20th century. Unsure of the exact age, but more than happy to help with any further questions.
Condition
In well used vintage condition. Showing age and use with surface scratches, scuffs and marks to the elm top. There are small dents and general wear consistent with regular use. The darker base shows rubbing to edges, scuffs to the feet and cosmetic wear to the stretchers and legs.
Structurally solid and usable.
Would benefit from a good clean and polish, or ideal for refinishing.
