Vintage nest of three tables

When I acquired this nest of three carved tables, the inset glass tops were missing, the surfaces of the tabletops were badly scratched, and the original walnut burr was outdated.

I revamped them with a sleek black finish to give them a modern and sophisticated look. The table tops are decoratively wallpapered, offering an eye-catching, textured look, while the classic Queen Anne style table legs are elegant and honour the original character of the tables.

These outdated tables have been given a new lease of life, blending vintage charm with modern flair.

• Refinished in a timeless, off-black (Cast Iron by Fusion Mineral Paint)
• Wallpapered with textured, crocodile skin-patterned paper
• Protected with Polyvine decorators varnish in a dead flat finish

Although this preloved piece has been carefully upcycled using professional products, some subtle signs of its previous life may still be visible, adding to its unique character and charm.
