Vintage Tallboy Cabinet - E Gomme G Plan Cupboard Drawers - Gentleman's Wardrobe

An Art Deco tallboy cabinet by E Gomme (G Plan), with double cupboard doors over two drawers. Compact yet practical in form, ideal for use as a bedroom tallboy, hallway storage cabinet, or drinks cupboard. The raised back detail and carved end panels give it distinctive period character.

Constructed from oak veneer over a solid timber frame, with oak drawer fronts and internal shelving. The upper section opens to reveal a shelved cupboard, with two drawers below fitted with original style handles. Branded E Gomme label present to the interior. Likely 1930s, produced in the Art Deco period. Unsure of the exact age, but more than happy to help with any further questions.

Condition
In well used vintage condition. Showing age and use with surface scratches, scuffs, and polish wear throughout. There are small knocks to edges and corners, including a visible chip to the top rear corner. Minor veneer wear in places. The interior shows wear consistent with use. Doors and drawers open and close as intended. Structurally solid overall.

Would benefit from a good clean and polish or ideal for re-finishing.
