Vintage upcycled tallboy chest of drawers pale green with floral decoupage

This vintage tallboy chest of drawers has been carefully upcycled into a beautiful, romantic, statement piece. It is solid wood, well made, with drawers sliding smoothly.

Painted a soft green with Fusion Paint ‘Eucalyptus’, the drawers have been wrapped with Redesign with Prima ‘Romance in Bloom’ decoupage and lined with a floral wallpaper. The sides of the tallboy and the drawers feature a delicate damask stencil design. The surface has been finished with a protective mid-sheen satin varnish, which gently reflects light. Rose gold wax has been used on hardware and to highlight ornate features.

The front panel on the right hinges open and sits slightly in front of the drawers. While this panel retains its original lock, it does not function reliably and is therefore decorative rather than functional. This does not affect the overall use of the piece.

Condition
I have upcycled with great attention and this piece is in very good vintage condition. As with all vintage furniture, minor age-related marks may be present and are consistent with age, adding to the character of the piece.
