Hi,
This is a listing for a rescued wine cabinet.
It was brought to the workshop table after being found in the street. It only needed small repairs and some thorough cleaning and I was able to give it a new colour.
I chose Annie Sloan chalk paint in Amsterdam Green.
I used the traditional process of sanding back to a light distress before waxing with a clear wax for protection and colour enhancement.
A very tricky item to paint, lots of hidden surfaces and hard to reach areas, but this was well worth saving. Its very functional, and it takes up very little floor space at only 27 cm deep.
There are four slotted shelves holding a total of 14 wine bottles, and theres glass hanging slots for probably 8 - 12 wine glasses, depending on the size.
Theres also a very handy drawer for any coasters, bottle openers etc...
Its a great restored salvaged object. There are videos on the processes etc on my social media platforms, instagram and facebook, under Paint Kitchen.
Thank you for looking!
