Vintage Writing Bureau

Beautiful, elegant, walnut veneer writing bureau. Painted in Fusion Coal Black and protected with Polyvine varnish in satin. A gold foil furniture transfer has been applied to enhance its timeless beauty. The bureau has two drawers and behind the pull down front, are the pigeon holes making the piece both practical and functional. The original hardware has been painted gold.
The drawers are lined with William Morris style paper. It’s natural wood grain veneer has been coated with several layers of Osmo Oil.
This is a vintage piece with a previous long life and may show its age with minor imperfections, which add to its character and charm.
