A truly exceptional solid mahogany Arts & Crafts period buffet sideboard cupboard, dating from the early 1900's. In the manner of Shapland & Petter, Barnstaple Devon. Well patinated breakfront top over two curved frieze drawers, copper repousse handles embellished with turquoise ruskin pottery (E R Taylor (1838-1912)) cabochons. Central foliate carved stylised tulips, flanked by two panelled carved foliate Art Nouveau detailed doors. Over two base frieze drawers with copper handles and ruskins. The interior with fitted shelved space. Surmounted by impressive shaped feet. A superb piece for the Arts & Crafts / Art Nouveau collector.
