This model bureau is in the Skull 1939 catalogue just after Ercol acquired the company.
This bureau is perfect for use with laptops as a micro office.
The fall front reveals a removable interior that consist of pigeonholes and a small drawer.
Below there are 3 graduated drawers.
The bureau is made in the Jacobean revival style.
The previous owners father was one of Lucian R. Ercolani right hand men that oversaw the Ercol buyout.
The court cupboard was a gift to him from Lucian as a wedding present in the 1930s.
Condition
The bureau is in good condition with age related wear and the there is an oak split down one side.
The top surface has age related varnish wear.
The lock does not work.
