Description
An antique style painted pine cupboard with a compact, practical form, featuring a single cupboard door to the left and three drawers to the right. Finished in a heavily worn off white paint, with a contrasting non-original top, this piece works well as a rustic storage cabinet, bedside cupboard, or decorative side unit.

The cupboard is constructed from softwood, likely pine, with plank construction visible internally. The painted finish appears to be later, with extensive wear revealing earlier layers and bare wood beneath. The top surface appears to be a later applied laminate or linoleum style covering rather than solid wood. Drawer fronts retain their original simple pull handles, and the interior cupboard space includes a fixed shelf.

Likely early to mid 20th century in origin, with later paint and alterations. Unsure of the exact age, but more than happy to help with any further questions.

Condition
In heavily worn antique condition. Showing extensive paint loss, flaking, scuffs, knocks, and general surface wear throughout. Chips and losses are present to corners and edges, particularly around the base and door edges. Internally, the wood shows heavy wear, stains, and marks from long use. Some drawer base rears show heavy damage (likely chew wear) , and there are areas of old repair and loss visible throughout. Structurally usable but clearly timeworn, best suited for decorative use or restoration.

Would benefit from a very good clean and polish, or ideal for restoration or up-cycling.
