Eames Mid Century Swivel Office Chair By Eames, Vitra, Herman Miller.
This office chair is designed and made by the Pel Group from Birmingham. Its in excellent order despite it being over 50 years old! Herman Miller Office Chair by Ray and Charles Eames. Originally designed in the late 1960's.
Only minimal signs of use mainly on the swivel legs . It is a genuine early chair with its provenance provided by the famous trade mark on the under side of the seat.
In its original condition apart from the seat and back pads being reupholsteted by myself. I have chosen this colourful kelim woven cotton fabric in a geometric design to add some colour to the otherwise somewhat 'beige' look.
The chair height is adjustable by twisting the seat clockwise to increase or counter clockwise to lower.
It stands on a heavy, chrome, 5 arm swivel base with gliders as feet rather than wheels for easy movement over smooth floors.
The seat is removable from the swivel vase for convenient postage options.
