Footstool. Reupholstered, Fully Restored. Mid-century in origin. Boucle
Reupholstered in a beautiful, soft and luxurios white boucle fabric. I used a fabric from Zinc Textiles called 'Tres Boucle, Jindo' in 'snow'.
This vintage, early 70s footstool has been completely stripped back and all padding and filling materials renewed. It features a plush finish with buttoning and removable, typical slim, tapered, black wood legs finished in black.
Ultimately this beautiful piece will complement any room with it's neutral colour scheme and modernised look and appeal.
It is available on its own or in combination with my other listing for 2 antique bedroom chairs, also upholstered in the dame fabric.
MY MISSION. I aim to source / rescue quality furniture that just needs a bit of tlc to restore them to their former glory. I only use high end fabrics to give a bespoke quality feel to each piece. Using such fabrics always enhances the design and makes the whole process so enjoyable for me to work with and of course, for you to enjoy.
In order to comply with British Fire Safety Regulations 1988, all my re-upholstered furniture manufactured after 1st January1950 is re-upholstered using fire retardant material, or contains fire retardant linings such as barrier cloth or wool as a liner / padding.
