Late 19th Century Carved Oak Sideboard
Late 19th Century Carved Oak Sideboard
A handsome and richly carved oak sideboard dating from the late 19th Century
The piece features a beautifully detailed carved gallery back, flanked by two expressive carved male figures, adding wonderful character and craftsmanship. The front is arranged with three carved panel doors:

The left-hand side opens to a single cupboard with shelf
All standing on turned legs united by a stretcher base.
The top remains in good condition with attractive patina throughout. There is general age-related wear as expected, and evidence of historic woodworm to the base — fully treated and now solid and stable.
