This mid-century Wooden rocking chair has been carefully restored and reupholstered in a modern, printed linen. The two seat cushions are loose but held to the frame by simple Velcro straps discretly attached to the back spindles. The rocking action is smooth. The seat is wide and very comfortable, easy to drop off to sleep in. Suitable for all adults with a maximum weight allowance of 90kgs. The seat base is composed of new elasticated webbing making for a very comfortable seat.
This rocker has been designed to reflet the New England / Coastal style. With simplicity at it’s heart and light-coloured frame, when coupled with just one additional natural colour creates an understated beauty. Will look great in a white kitchen diner or a conservatory / sunroom teamed with rustic basketry, cane furniture and neutral cushions and throws.
