Vintage Walnut Cocktail Cabinet
This has to be one of the most unique pieces to come through my workshop. Made by the British furniture brand Validity it is a piece that will instantly elevate a room and command attention.
Featuring a large cupboard at the bottom with a fixed shelf. The lower part is sufficiently tall for most spirit bottles for long stem wine glasses while the shelf provides storage for high ball glasses and tumblers.
The ‘party section’ above is truly where the excitement happens. Upon opening the cabinet the interior is illuminated but externally the two gold stars also light up. Inside there are two decorative mirrored panels and a plain one for drink preparation. The original juice squeezer and cocktail sticks are also present adding to the fanfare!
All surfaces have been thoroughly cleaned and protected with a hard wearing oil.

This is an up-cycled piece so may show signs of its previous life. The bulbs have been replaced by LED bulbs but the electrics have not been PAT tested. At some point in its life the base became damp and has warped slightly but this doesn’t not affect its structural integrity at all.
